Band Bio
The Rattlebacks are a Brighton based hard rock band of stadium promise. With the line up finalised in 2021, and with Coxy (Rhythm Guitar) and Max (Lead Guitar) having known each other from birth, they have decided to use their brotherly bond to follow the greatest path of all, rock’n’roll. They formed an unholy alliance first with Jack “The Hell” Hollamby on bass providing the low-end emotion, before being joined by Seth Markes on drums (some say his drumkit has had to be reinforced due to his Wham-ness).
A two-and-a-half-year nationwide search ensued to find “the voice” and after countless auditions the band were tipped off, and they all went to see one Josh Clarke perform live. On the spot the chaps knew they found their man when they heard Josh’s pipes, a beer was shared, and the craic was had. The Rattlebacks lineup was confirmed.
.
Their unwavering passion to deliver hard rock music to a new generation is well recognised within the industry and their explosively dangerous live show is the distillation of just that. Picking up where hard rock and grunge tailed off in the mid-90s, whilst adding modern sensibilities, The Rattlebacks are not a band rehashing a meek imitation of a time gone by they standout on their own merit and have finally given rock fans something to believe in.

Having created a loyal fan base across the Southeast of England with countless sold-out headline shows, the band have developed an underground cult following. With their EP “Kink” on the horizon and their debut album close to completion their devoted fanbase has donated £5,000 via GoFundMe or privately to help propel their band into the next stage of their journey. Further demonstrating for those that know, The Rattlebacks are the rock band of choice.

The Rattlebacks are now in a position to mount a wider assault across the music industry, with “Kink” due for release in November and their highly anticipated debut album will follow shortly after that. The latter being recorded at Lightship 95 under the tutelage of maverick producer and mad scientist Dave Holmes. To support the upcoming release of the “Kink” EP the band will shortly announce a headline UK tour across November/December.
